Paradise Wildlife Park is a truly special place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Park has an excellent range of animals including Tigers, Lions, Red Pandas, Cheetahs, Birds of Prey, Reptiles, Monkeys, Zebra, Camels and Reindeer; what makes it unique is the fact that you can get really close, meeting and feeding the animals.Additional Information
Paradise Wildlife Park is a truly special place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Park has an excellent range of animals including Tigers, Lions, Red Pandas, Cheetahs, Birds of Prey, Reptiles, Monkeys, Zebra, Camels and Reindeer; what makes it unique is the fact that you can get really close, meeting and feeding the animals.All enclosures are linked with smooth paths and all provide visitors in wheelchairs with unrestricted views of the animals. All buildings have smooth or very gently ramped entrances.
Paradise Wildlife Park is conveniently located just off the A10 at Broxbourne and only six miles from Junction 25 of the M25. The park operates a courtesy mini-bus service from Broxbourne main line station which has direct links to London, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. Wheelchair accessible transport from the station can be provided if you phone ahead.
There is ample car parking space and reserved spaces for the disabled. There are a number of specially adapted toilets which include ones which are either left or right hand transfer. Minimum door width to accessible toilets is 85cm.
The park offers many other attractions including children’s rides, three themed adventure playgrounds, woodland walk with wheelchair suitable surface, tractor/trailer rides and an indoor soft play area for under five’s. See the Hollywood Stunt Parrots Show and The Big Bug show, all of which are inclusive of the admission price. There is a small charge for the Woodland Railway and Pony Rides.
There is a good range of accessible catering outlets and ample picnic areas with tables located around the Park. It’s a great day out for all the family and extremely wheelchair friendly! Open 365 days a year
